WHO WE ARE
     Community Church Staff

;Loy Wiggers   Pastor Loy Wiggers:
I was born in Newton, Kansas, the youngest of six children.  My parents were Mennonites and taught us to love the Lord at an early age.  When I was about 10 years old, my parents left the Mennonite faith and worked in several different states, Minnesota, Arizona, and then California.  While in California my family began to attend Church of the Open Door.  I first attended college in  Minnesota and then transferred to BIOLA and after graduation I attended Talbot Seminary.  I had no idea what the Lord would have me do but my two brothers had been working as Village Missionaries for several years and so I accepted a summer internship with Village Missions. My heart was stirred to do this type of work full time so in 1967, after two summer internships my wife, Dian, and I began our ministry in Howe, ID. We have served Village Missions fields at Howe, ID, Ophir/Nesika Beach, OR, Worley, ID, and La Pine, OR.

Pastor Loy is responsible for the  preaching of the Word, Bible studies, men's groups, janitorial duties, and all of the activities of the church - [email Loy today]

Brian Earls Brian Earls:
I was born in Corvallis Oregon and I am the oldest of three.  My parents faithfully raised  us in the church and taught us God's love and desire for our lives. In 1981 we moved to LaPine.  At age twelve we began attending La Pine Community Church becoming involved in the youth group and grew spiritually in the Lord.  Over the next six years I realized I wanted to serve the Lord in some way.

In 1994, I graduated from La Pine High School and moved to Corvallis to start college at LBCC.  I did not know what God wanted for me but I trusted he had a plan.  In 1996 I transfered to Western Oreon were I finished a degree in business.  I felt that God was leading me back to La Pine so I moved back and began to manage the Highlander Motel, RV Park, and Shell station where I had already worked for many years.

God began to lead me to the La Pine Community Church to serve those in the La Pine area.  In 2003 I married my loving and supportive wife Jeannine and we now have 2 wonderful children Josh and Jace.

Brian is Chairman of the Board, Treasurer, oversees all financial matters of the church, and lay preacher.  Helps in all aspects of ministry. [email Brian today]

Dian Wiggers  Dian Wiggers:
I was born in Salem, OR. and spent most of my growing up years near the coast of southern Oregon.   At the age of 9, I attended a VBS sponsored by the Village Missions church at Arago, OR.  There I saw my need of having Jesus as my Savior.  Later, we moved to another community, Lee Valley, OR, and attended a Village Missions church where Loy's brother, Vern,  and wife Valda, were Village Missionaries.  They nurtured me in my faith and encouraged me to go to Bible College.  The Lord led me to BIOLA where I met Loy and we were married in 1966.  We began serving the Lord together doing a summer internship in Gateway, CO.  After that summer we came into Village Missions full time. The Lord  blessed us with two children, Scott and Brent, but Brent was only to be with us 15 years before the Lord took him Home. He also has blessed us with two granddaughters, Heather and Shelby. I enjoy helping my husband in ministry in La Pine, OR.

Dian oversees Children's and Women's Ministries, Women's Discipleship, Worship Team and Music, Secretarial work for the church as well as helping Loy with visitation and other activities. [email Dian today]
