Welcome to the home page for La Pine Community Church. Loy Wiggers is our pastor and together with his wife Dian they are missionaries for Jesus Christ. The founders of the La Pine Community Church were a group of born again individuals who desired to share their faith with others. The church was organized in 1972. This church is not affiliated with any denomination. It is solely governed by the congregation and the leadership of our Savior Jesus Christ. At the request of the church, Village Missions was contacted and have sent three different missionary couples: John and Betty Staat, Grover and Kathy Arnold, and now Loy and Dian Wiggers. Events This Week
Noteworthy Crafts Fair on December 6th after church. Christmas Program - "A Family Affair" on December 13th at 11:00am. Christmas Eve Service with Communion. Coming in 2010 we'll have a new Men's Mentoring Group. This year's Vacation Bible Adventure was a huge blessing for the kids of La Pine. Please visit photos to see some of the fun! Home Bible studies and Discipleship Bibles studies are being formed. Please contact the church for additional information. The After School Adventure is for kindergarten through fifth grade and runs October through April. Sign your child up and the school bus will drop them off here at church and then you can pick them up at 3:45pm. They will be given snacks, games to play, crafts to do, and Bible lessons to memorize. These two classes start on Wednesday October 1st at 2:30pm. There are many youth activities. Please contact the church for further information. |
